I have always wanted to drive Highway 1, but had no idea what to expect. It was even more beautiful than I imagined. Sometimes it reminded me of driving around the big island in Hawaii, or what the hills of Ireland look like.

We stopped at the San Gregorio Fish Lagoon which is absolutely littered with driftwood sculptures. They definitely created a semi eerie vibe but were fascinating to explore.
